About
Big Blue Weekend
Big Blue Weekend is Sonoma State University’s signature fall celebration, bringing together students, alumni, families, faculty, staff, and community members for a weekend full of connection, tradition, and Sonoma State spirit. Now entering its third year, Big Blue Weekend has quickly become a cherished campus tradition that showcases the vibrant energy and welcoming community that make SSU so special.
Throughout the weekend, guests are invited to experience campus through a variety of events and activities, including Palooza & Community Day, live entertainment, family-friendly programming, club sports, movie and trivia nights, campus traditions, and more. Designed to celebrate the many members of the SSU community, Big Blue Weekend offers opportunities to reconnect with friends, make new memories, and engage with campus in meaningful and fun ways.
Whether you are a current student, proud alum, parent, supporter, or first-time visitor, Big Blue Weekend is a chance to come together, celebrate Sonoma State, and experience the spirit of the SSU community.
